Financial Analyst (Female only) – Green Umbrella
An experienced Female Financial Analyst with basic secretarial work to provide day to day support to the Chairperson of a leading Group of Companies in Oman
Summary of the Job Role:
The ideal candidate for this position is a selfstarter who can work well in a fast-paced environment. Apart from strong knowledge on analyzing financial data-based information to assist Chairperson to make well informed decisions and monitor financial movements, candidate should have preliminary knowledge on secretarial work.
– Financial Data Analysis – Analysing financial data & performance reports to provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance – Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis – Drive process improvement – Supporting the Chairperson on New business / projects feasibility reports and forecasted financial statements. – Work closely with senior managerial and staff for obtaining information as required by Chairperson. – Providing daily updates to Chairperson on assigned tasks – General administrative support
– Office Administration/Secretarial – Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing, Calendar management, Meeting Arrangements – Prepare agenda, draft minutes, Office management etc.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce with CFA or equivalent degree in finance field is desirable.
Skills/Knowledge: – Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions. – Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials. – Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements. – Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. – Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and MS Office – Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills – Highly organised and methodical – Effective oral and written communications skills. – Ability to manage stress with effective time management – Well informed in financial subjects, accounting and business environments.
Experience: – Minimum of 8 years’ experience in relevant field
