- Prospect for new clients by networking, Phone calls, promoting or other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Monitoring sales data and keeping up to date with current market trends and customer needs.

- KPIs are vital navigational instruments, giving a clear picture of current levels of performance and whether the business is where it needs to be developing and implementing sales plans

- Be aware of all competitive activities within major accounts.
- Explore market opportunities and identify (corporate, Government bodies, rental companies) customers who could be approached to discuss fleet sales business. Approach potential customers and establish contacts and relationships to facilitate business in the near future.
