Sales Engineer (Commercial Vehicles & Heavy Equipment) – Global Management Solutions (GMS)
Product / Project Sales:
• To evaluate the customer requirement carefully, spec and quote the product and bag the order and execute the order on time and economically to maximize the profit.
Execution / Delivery:
• To follow up with other parties involved in the completion of the final product as per the project / customer specs.
• To ensure completion of documentation along with delivery/project execution for payment collection.
• To track the leads and actively pursue potential customers with the aim of sales performance.
• To collect and update project information and competitor information on a monthly basis.
• Attend to customer complaints directly or by coordination with After-sales.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationship with existing and potential clients with the objective of closing on potential new sales.
• Maintain an agreed level of proactive telephone contact with both existing and prospective customer, updating customers on new product developments, etc.
Liaise on daily basis with team members and update them on any developments in the product range,
Projects in the market, customer buying patterns ensuring a high level of team relationship.
MIS & Reports:
• Prepare necessary franchise MIS statements and reports for company management and Principals.
